Don’t forget to register for Helping Hands!

The deadline to register for Helping Hands is quickly approaching! Our Helping Hands program this month allows social distancing, so get ready to get out there and help out a local community! On Saturday, September 26 the VCA will be lending a helping hand to! As an opportunity to help a local organization, while social distancing, we will be helping to clean up a historic African American cemetery by cleaning headstones and removing vegetation. Lunch will be provided by the VCA. Work gloves, face masks, and hand sanitizer will be available, however, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own. All volunteers will have to sign a waiver and children 6+ are welcome to accompany their parents. The deadline to register is Wednesday Sept. 16th (tomorrow!) so that we plan ahead for social distancing and ordering lunch. Because this event is limited to 15 people in order to allow for social distancing, other dates can be scheduled if needed to accommodate more people.
